    You know those lovely finger joints ... lets bury them.
    Trying a different way to transition force 
    from the tube to the top of the SudiBall.
    The top ring blocks were mitered @ 45 degrees 
    before being laminated. 

    Note the short edge section without char. 
    that is where the laser duty cycle decided not to cut.
