I am a Ph.D. student at the Department of Computer and Information Science, University of Oregon, Eugene, OR (since 2018). I received my M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from University of Tehran, Tehran, IR in 2018, and my B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Amirkabir University, Tehran, IR in 2014. My research interests are in the areas of deep learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP), with a special focus on employing structured information to extract knowledge from text. I have published several papers in a variety of domains (e.g. question answering, event factuality detection, relation extraction, stance classification, and rumor detection, definition extraction, etc) at top NLP and AI conferences including ACL, NAACL, AAAI, IJCAI, and CIKM. I've served as reviewer for top conferences like EMNLP, ACL and AAAI. I have also served as program committee member of QALD 2016.
