  • Performance Analysis I am collaborating with Sanjukta Bhowmick, Sriram Srinivasan, and Boyana Norris to develop an improved shared-memory graph algorithms for dynamic graphs (those which change a small amount throughout time). My contribution is primarily performance analysis.
  • Parallel Graph Processing Boyana Norris and I are working on performance analysis of parallel graph processing platforms with the goal of simplifying and automating performance collection to make it easier to select one of the myriad graph processing implementations.
  • Computer Graphics I completed a project in Fall 2015 for a computer graphics class which focused on generating procedurally generated handwriting not based on any natural langauge. A preliminary website can be found here. Potential research directions include parallelizing the algorithm, producing a wider variety of glyphs, or producing natural language handwriting with random variations. I am currently looking for someone with whom to continue this research! If this seems interesting, please contact me.
  • Job Scheduling I am working on topology-aware job scheduling by adding to the Flux resource management system developed at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
