Review articles

A review article should contain

• A complete bibliographic citation
• A synopsis of the main results or arguments of the paper.
• A critical assessment of the contribution, strengths and weaknesses of the paper.

Review articles are a good exercise in critical thinking, as well as clear writing. I will look for

• Clear understanding and summary of the main ideas of the paper being reviewed
• Critical thinking and clean, logical presentation
• Basic writing standards (grammar, spelling, formatting, etc.)

Grades of review articles will be "satisfactory", "very good", or "unsatisfactory."
