I am constantly looking for students with strong motivation of doing first-rate research. Your acdemic background is important, but your determination, integrity and persistency toward research is of the most importance.
In addition to the ongoing projects in our lab on worm defense, active phishing disruption, traffic hijacking detection, source address validity enforcement, and Internet routing forensics, I am very interested in working with talented and diligent students on new topics. Although not required, students at UO are encouraged to take my classes before involved in our research.
We also welcome undergraduate students who'd like to accumulate some research experience, sometimes through NSF REU scholarship.
