I am a Ph.D. student at the Department of Computer and Information Science, University of Oregon, Eugene, OR since 2018. I received my M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from University of Tehran, Tehran, IR in 2018, and my B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Amirkabir University, Tehran, IR in 2014. My research interests are in the areas of deep learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP), with a special focus on employing structured information to extract meaningful knowledge from text. I has published several papers in a variety of domains (e.g. question answering, event factuality detection, relation extraction, stance classification, and rumor detection, etc) at top NLP and AI conferences including ACL, NAACL, IJCAI, CIKM and serve as reviewer for top conferences like EMNLP, and ACL and program committee of QALD 2016.
