    Base's circular chamfer cut at 45-deg; 
    sitting on blocks for ground clearance.
    All parts laminated & dry-ish.
    Using the base as a glue jig for the SudiBall runners, 
    the plastic keeps the runner joint glue off the base.
    I would like to try a second ring above the equator, 
    but that will have to wait for another build.
